Valencia (Spain), 20 June 2010. The new version 3.4.8. is now available for new clients and for clients with a maintenance contract.  

The new 3.4.8 version includes the most improvements made ever since the creation of edinn M2. The 4.0 version, on which we are working since february 2010, will be published in beta version in september 2010 and its largest contribution will be the important improvement of the energy efficiency module, increasing its leadership in the market. 

With the 3.4.8 version, 217.000 unique code lines are surpassed and more than 100 main improvements are included, summarized hereafter:

GENERAL:
- Important improvements made in precision, yield and robustness. 
- Improvement in management of long cycle time processes (for craftsmen and in preparation for other sectors).  

SERVER:
- Includes the standard ERP integration module (XML and WebServices).
- Includes stock management integrated with ERP.
- Includes email sending at specific situations: pending autocontrol task, outdated autocontrol tasks, processes that are stopped too long, etc. 
- Includes a new driver for monitoring through IP camaras. 
- Includes a new automatic data base optimization module. 

CLIENT:
- Schedule management has been improved.  
- Now allows the control of MTBF and MTTR objectives as well
- Allows to introduce automatically SPC data by maintaining the control on SPC alerts
- Allows to pause products and restart them. 
- Time usage and product data entry has been simplified with "macro" buttons. 

REPORTS:
- Improvement of the visual component of the reports tool and AJAX technology incorporated to improve its yield. 
- Now allows to zoom at reports by clicking on specific areas. 
- New reports (f.e. Complete Losses Report), new options and predefined reports for persons that do not know the system have been incorporated.
