The Politécnica University of Valencia lectures classes on edinn M2 Imprimir E-Mail

Valencia, 12 January 2009. The Politécnica University of Valencia (UPV) will make use of a complete edinn M2 system, with training licenses, at the Flexible Manufacturing Unit of the Company Organization Department. 

The Politécnica University of Valencia (UPV), one of the most prestigious universities of Spain, has acquired a complete edinn M2 system to be installed, with training licenses, in the Flexible Manufacturing Unit of the Company Organization Department (DOE).  

The flexible manufacturing unit of the DOE, whose purpose is teaching and investigation, is a complete production line on real scale, consisting of robots, conveyor belts, machines and quality controls through artificial vision.

The decision taken by the DOE is very important, because edinn M2 is considered to be the leading system for the improvement of efficiency, it is installed in multinationals and SMEs, and therefore it results to be very convenient to educate tomorrows profesionals on ratios and techniques implemented by this system.

This manufacturing unit will use all capacities of edinn M2, using all its power: diagnosis of production losses (OEE, MTBF, MTTR, etc.), management of process maintenance (Autocontrol), quality measurement and control (SPC), analysis of the next probable stop to occur by means of a patron analysis with neural networks, etc.
